"If Jeremy’s legacy is anything, let it be a legacy of the people helped in his name."

#neverhopeless

In the picture on the right, you see two brothers, one of whom was struggling with addiction when he found our foundation. Through hard work and dedication he has managed to earn his 60 day chip.

Join our #NeverHopeless campaign to fund the treatment next year for three sober living home patients who cannot afford it. We can’t give up on helping them achieve a sober and healthy life. We rely on your support to continue our work. Any donation amount helps.

WHAT WE DO

At JCF, our mission is to help struggling heroin/opiate addicts regain their sobriety, self-respect and their soul.  We have assisted hundreds of people affected by drug addiction through education, emotional support, and financial aid.

We educate the general public about all aspects of addiction from various experts in the field.  We offer this education through our podcast, entitled “Twenty Dollars” which is available on this website, iTunes, Spotify, iHeartRadio, Deezer, Stitcher, Radio Public, and Pocket Casts.

To expand our reach, we are calling for your help.  Please join us and help advocate for this important cause.

JCF is a nonprofit organization, granted 501(c)(3) status by the IRS.

About Us

The Jeremy Castro Foundation was born as a result of losing our son and brother to heroin addiction.  Jeremy had been clean for several months before he relapsed and died from a fentanyl overdose in 2017.

In the days following Jeremy’s demise, we had several people confide in us that they too were dealing with addiction in their family.  Every one of us thought that we were the only family in town dealing with this problem.  We knew then that we had to do something to combat this opioid epidemic.

Today, we want to speak out about the heartache of addiction and work to change the stigma surrounding this disease.  We want to extend our hand to addicts and their families and let them know that there is hope for living a heroin-free life.  We are here to help them on their journey toward recovery.
